Brickvention Volunteers
Join the Brickvention 2026 Volunteer Team!
Brickvention is Australia’s largest LEGO® fan event — and in 2026 we’re celebrating 20 years of Brickvention at the iconic Royal Exhibition Building in January!
Each year, volunteers are the heart of Brickvention, helping us bring the magic of LEGO® to life for thousands of visitors. With more than 15,000 attendees, over 300 LEGO® exhibitors, plus workshops, special guests, cosplayers and a LEGO® play area, we need your help to make this milestone event our biggest and best yet.
Why Volunteer at Brickvention?
As part of our volunteer team, you’ll:
- Help create a fun, safe and welcoming experience for all attendees
- Meet amazing LEGO® builders, fans and fellow volunteers
- Gain hands-on experience in event operations and customer service
- Be part of a not-for-profit, community-driven event
Volunteer Roles
We’re looking for friendly, reliable people to help across a range of areas, including:
- Ticketing and entry scanning
- Crowd flow and queue management
- Assisting patrons and exhibitors
- Merchandise stall and shop support
- Registration desk
- Bump-in and bump-out setup and packdown
Volunteers are needed across four days (Thursday to Sunday), with the greatest need on Saturday and Sunday during the public expo.
Lead Volunteer Opportunities
If you have previous experience in volunteer or event coordination, you may be invited to take on a Lead Volunteer role. Lead Volunteers help guide small teams, support new volunteers, and act as a key link between volunteers and event coordinators.
