Brickvention Exhibitor Registration Guide
Please read this guide and refer to it when completing your application to exhibit at Brickvention.
Terms and Conditions for Exhibitors
Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance to exhibit at Brickvention. You will be contacted with details on the outcome of your application.
By applying to exhibit at Brickvention you agree that, if your application is accepted, you will comply with the following terms and conditions:
- Exhibitors must be at least 18 years of age to exhibit at Brickvention
- Builds must belong to / have been created by the named exhibitor/s. All named exhibitor/s must have significantly contributed to the build.

- Where exhibits were designed by someone else (including, but not limited to, instructions obtained or purchased from sites like Rebrickable) they can only be displayed with the designer’s consent and appropriate credit must be given.
- All exhibitors, both new and returning, must read the Participant Manual and be familiar with its contents prior to arriving at Brickvention. The link will be provided as soon as possible to all exhibitors at their registered email.

Completing the registration form:
Keep this guide handy while filling out the registration form for an explanation of the information we require.
Personal Details:
Note that your name, email address and phone number are taken from your Jumperplate user profile. Please ensure they are correct – click on your name in the top right corner of the Jumperplate window and click Your Profile. If we need to contact you about your application we will do so using these details.
* Add your postcode and state
Family Pass:
Brickvention will provide a pass to the event for your spouse and your dependent children only. The family pass allows access to Brickvention for the duration of the event (excluding bump in and bump out for children under 18 years of age). It does not include any merchandise or exhibitor benefits.
We are unable to provide passes for anyone else, including but not limited to your friends, parents, siblings, aunts, cousins, grandparents, or your best friend’s sister’s boyfriend’s brother’s girlfriend.
* Add your spouse’s name and number of dependents
Build Details:
You can add one or more builds to your application by clicking the + and entering all of the following details for each individual build. Each build will be assessed and accepted or rejected individually.
Note that multiple builds by one exhibitor may not be placed together in the building. Requests to be located with another exhibitor will be considered, but cannot be guaranteed.
It is important to provide as much detail as possible on your build to enable the exhibitor panel to assess your application. Don’t assume that the person assessing your application knows about your build capabilities or style. It is crucial that you accurately specify your requirements at the application stage as the event layout is planned on these details. We expect that you will bump in a build that matches what was approved! Any changes to your approved build must be notified to the exhibitor panel and approved in advance of the event.
The following details are required for each build:
* Build Name: as it will appear on the event map
* Builder’s Name: as it will appear on the event map
* Builder’s Facebook Name: so you can be added to the exhibitor group, only required if different to your legal name
* Solo or Group Build:
If you are the only builder, choose Solo Build
If you are one of multiple builders, choose Joint Build.
If you are part of a group / collaborative build that is listed, select it from the dropdown.
* Other people in group build: list the other people who are a part of your build.
Only builders who have significantly contributed to the build should be listed as joint builders and apply as an exhibitor.
Ensure that each person in a joint builds lists all the other builders accurately so that they can be linked to the build.
Each contributing builder will need to submit their own application via Jumperplate, and specify the other builders so that they can be linked.
* Build Description: provide as much detail as possible to enable the exhibitor panel to assess your application.
It is fine if your build is in planning stages, however the more detail you can provide will improve your chances of being accepted.
If your build contains non-LEGO parts of any variety (e.g. clone bricks or figures, 3d printed parts or figures) then you must describe it here.
* Build Dimensions: Width (front) in CM and Depth (side) in CM
Enter the width and depth of your build in centimetres. We will not accept any other unit of measure (eg tables, metres, baseplates or studs).
Why centimetres? Your build may be placed on a table with other builds, and we need to know it’s exact dimensions. We will allow for space around your build.
Planning a large build? Our tables are 2.4 metres long, and 76cm deep. If you imagine a table with 32×32 baseplates laid out on it, you can fit 9 wide x 3 deep. If your build requires one or more whole tables you must still specify the complete width and depth of your build in centimetres.
It is extremely important to give an accurate measurement for your build when you apply, as it is verydifficult to add and remove table space later in the process.
If your build does not sit on a table or has other special requirements (like 360 degree visibility) please ensure you make note of this in the build description field.
* Power Required: Click the check box if you need power for your build to function
Power will only be provided for your build, you may not plug in other devices such as phones or laptops
Requiring power may limit where your display can be placed in the building and can not move once bump in has commenced.
If you can bring battery pack/s to power your build we highly recommend it – you will also need to be able to charge your battery packs overnight, they cannot be plugged in to charge at the event.
* Picture Upload: attach 1-3 pictures of your build.
You must submit at least 1 picture of your build, otherwise your application will be automatically rejected.
If your build is in planning stages we recommend submitting a drawing or sketch of your build. Uploading Google images of other builds or items will not be accepted. Your diagram should also reasonably explain the amount of space you are applying for.
* Has your build been displayed at a previous Brickvention? Select Yes or No
We know that a lot of LEGO fans visit Brickvention every year and as such we aim to provide high quality unique builds that have not been displayed at Brickvention before. Unfortunately if your build has been displayed previously and has not been significantly altered then it may not be approved.
* Details of previous Brickvention display: if you think your build should be considered for another Brickvention (e.g. it was displayed 5 years ago and has been modified since) then please provide details of when it was last at Brickvention and what has changed on it since then.
Continue in the form once all of your builds have been added to the list.

The Brickvention organising committee is a small group of volunteers who do all of the planning and coordinating of this event in their spare time. Please be patient and considerate when making requests or providing feedback!
