     NOTE: There is no food / drink available inside the Royal Exhibition Building on Convention Day. Please plan to bring lunch or use this break to obtain food outside the venue.
1.00pm – Workshops and Talks 
     NOTE: These will be held upstairs, access is via the stairs near the main entrance or stairs/lift near the museum side of the building.


1.15pm – New Elementary with Tim
Get hands on and create with some of the newest elements in this creative workshop with Tim Johnston from New Elementary. Please note that there are no take home parts included in this workshop.
Cost: $10

2.15pm – Trees and Plants with Ash
In this workshop you will get your own parts pack and a hands on workshop to build and create – then take home and add to your own MOC.

3.15pm – GBC Introduction with Rohan
The Great Ball Contraption is always a huge hit at Brickvention! If you are curious about how to get started with GBC, this workshop will run you through making your own working module! Parts are yours to take home and expand on.

1.15pm – Digital Design with Ryan and Dale
Join Dale and Ryan, both experienced Brickvention exhibitors, as they talk about digital design using – including benefits and challenges of building digital. You can see more of what Dale builds and read his blog at Ryan builds and displays around Australia, and is visiting Brickvention again from Perth.

2.15pm – International Events with Jay
Now that the world has opened up again there are so many more LEGO events you can get to! Whether you’re keen to visit or display, this is the talk for you. Jay Horne is the President and Ambassador of Wellington LEGO User Group and founder of Jumper Plate.

3.15pm – The Legacy of Classic Castle with Richard Jones
Castle was one of the original minifigure themes, first appearing in 1978. Castle sets continued in production until 2013 with barely a glitch, until going on hiatus until the 90th Anniversary in 2022. But did Castle every really go away? Join us on a nostalgic stroll down memory lane as we see the ways in which castle has never really left the collective consciousness of the LEGO designers… Richard writes the Rambling Brick, a LEGO Fan Blog with a focus on Nostalgia and Story Telling.
